In a haunting vision, Asif dreams of his sonβs bed drenched in blood, a severed deer lying in wait. Guided by the cryptic prophecy of the village elder, he sets out to hunt a deer, believing that inscribing a charm upon its hide will lift a decade of misfortune and allow him to love again. But Asifβs spiraling delusions and inner darkness lead to an unspeakable tragedyβthe death of his own son, Saleh.
